Editorial Policy

okx club publishes English-language cryptocurrency news, with French articles translated from the English original. We aim for clear, source-backed reporting on exchanges, regulation, on-chain activity, market structure, and related public developments.

1. Source policy

We rely on primary and verifiable sources where possible, including exchange announcements, status pages, regulatory filings, court documents, audited reports, official developer documentation, on-chain data, and reputable market data providers. We link to the original source whenever it is publicly available and relevant to the reader.

  • We summarize source material in our own words and use direct quotes only when necessary for accuracy or clarity.
  • We do not reproduce paragraphs, sections, or substantial passages from press releases, reports, or third-party publications without meaningful editorial processing.
  • If a chart, dataset, quotation, or image is used from another source, we credit it and link to the origin or licensing note.
  • Rumors or social media claims are not presented as fact unless independently verified by credible sources.

2. AI assistance and boundaries

AI tools may be used for drafting assistance, source summarization, translation first-pass support, headline suggestions, and readability checks. AI is not used to create facts. All figures, dates, quotes, entity names, token contracts, regulatory references, and causal explanations must be checked against sources before publication.

  • AI-generated draft text is treated as a starting point, not an authoritative source.
  • Factual claims, statistics, and quotations must come from verified sources; AI cannot introduce unsupported data.
  • If AI output contains invented sources, numbers, quotations, or legal claims, it is discarded.
  • French translations produced with AI assistance are reviewed against the English original for accuracy and meaning.
  • No article is published without human editorial review.

3. Human review rules

Each article is checked by an assigned editor before publication. The editor reviews source links, factual accuracy, headline and body alignment, attribution, legal risk, clarity, and translation consistency for French versions.

Content is rejected or returned for revision if it:

  • lacks a verifiable source for material factual claims;
  • uses unconfirmed rumor, anonymous social media posts, or single-source claims as established fact;
  • reproduces third-party text without sufficient original writing or attribution;
  • contains promotional framing, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or unsupported investment conclusions;
  • misstates regulatory status, market data, exchange availability, or risk;
  • uses unclear language, broken links, incorrect entity names, or misleading headlines;
  • does not align with a beginner guide’s need for plain explanation and non-advisory tone.

4. Corrections and reader feedback

Readers can report errors through the site’s contact page or by emailing [email protected]. Please include the article URL, the statement in question, and the supporting source or explanation.

We acknowledge correction requests within 1 to 2 business days. Straightforward factual issues are typically reviewed within 3 to 7 business days; stories involving legal, regulatory, security, or rapidly changing market details may take longer.

If an error is confirmed, we correct the affected passage promptly. Minor factual corrections update the text and include a dated correction note. Material changes to meaning, source attribution, risk framing, or legal claims are marked clearly. If an article cannot be corrected safely while remaining accurate, it may be unpublished or replaced with an editorial note explaining the action.
